Prayer for the Week: Trusting in HIS Sight
Lord, I know there are times in our life when we are unsure of what the next step is. Answers aren’t coming as quickly as we would like. It seems as if we are stuck in this one area of our life. Whether it’s the decision to start a relationship or let go of one, relationships with family and friends, relationship with ourselves. Either way, we feel the desperate need to hear from the One who sight is unlimited.
Lord, I pray during this time we don’t forget who You are as our God. I pray we stay seated next to You and wait until you say move. You are already in tomorrow. You see exactly where our feet need to land and exactly where they should go. I pray that we continue to trust Your eyes and not our limited understanding of how this life works. I pray we rest in the peace that you have our BEST interest in mind.
Lord, gifts sometimes take time to prepare. I pray we focus on You to fill our time and to keep us from sinning in our heart. I pray we are so filled with Your presence that when our gift finally comes, it will only feel like we’ve been waiting for a few seconds.
I pray all these things in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen!
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philip. 4:7)
“We live by faith, not by sight.” (2 Cor. 5:7)
“So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her.” (Genesis 29:20)
Jesus, family, ministry, and lots of coffee! My heart comes from being a young teen girl who didn’t know much and found Jesus in a dark time. My ministry focuses on the heart of God for this generation to make Godly decisions especially in the area of purity. A blog for all ages because God’s Word is eternal and has no age limit!
